Eating in Le Havre

Le bouche à oreille

In Bouche à Oreille, in the kitchen the chef is Alexandre Durel

With his partner Emilie, they run this restaurant 10 minutes from the beach in Le Havre.
It's a restaurant with no frills, comfortable, but a functional and sober room: here everything is on the plate and everything happens in the kitchen.
Alexander's cooking is unique to him: entirely homemade, a gourmet style, seasonal choices, a dressing that we recognize after several passages at his table and always slipped into the menus of beautiful taste surprises: In fact, you never get bored at this table and worse…. we enjoy it!
Emilie's service is impeccable, simple and professional, a short but effective choice of wines.
Behind the glass that separates us from the kitchen, the chef is busy, serious, the nose in his pots and an eye on the room, the score is performed, without false notes!

Le Sorrento

Italian restaurant

The first Italian gourmet restaurant in Le Havre, "Le Sorrento" offers you to taste a rich and varied menu of typical Neapolitan dishes. Just like in Italy, the freshness of the products and the concern for authenticity will satisfy the most curious minds.

Facing the fishing and cruise ports, we enjoy a privileged location. The immediate proximity of the second impressionist museum of France André Malraux, as well as the main centers of tourist interest of the city center classified U.N.E.S.C.O, will allow a gourmet stopover in the circuit of your visits.

Whether through the traditional friendliness of Palmina, or the creativity and know-how of Salvatore VESPOLI, you will not be able to remain indifferent to this refined and generous cuisine.

So get ready for the trip.

Graville Abbey

at 500 m from the Boudoir

Graville Abbey dominates Le Havre and the Seine estuary.

Its abbey church, a masterpiece of Romanesque art in Normandy, underwent several periods of construction from the 10th to the 13th century.

The convent buildings (12th – 18th centuries) house a museum with some of the finest religious statuary in Normandy.

Medieval lapidary elements, liturgical objects, collection of models of houses from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century illustrating human habitation complete the ensemble.

The Abbey is surrounded by terraced gardens.

The historic center of Le Havre

Sainte-Adresse beach

Located on the Channel coast and the Cauchois plateau, this former fishing village was once frequented by a large number of painters, including Monet, Corot and Stevens.

It retains a rich heritage from this period, numerous villas but also the Manor, a superb half-timbered house built around 1420 and which was a vacation spot for Catherine de Medici and Charles IX.

The La Hève lighthouse is a must-see, as is the Notre Dame des Flots church.
